LOWER MORELAND, Penn. – A high school teacher was suspended without pay for allegedly having sex with a student and sending him sexually-filled videos, pictures and messages.

Erica Ann Ginnetti, 33, turned herself in last week after allegations that the married teacher had sex with a 17-year-old student, reports NBC10.

Last Wednesday, a third party sent the news station a video of a woman removing a bikini top and tight pants. The original video was allegedly recorded and sent to the student by Ginnetti.

According to investigators, Ginnetti was anything but shy in front of the camera.

Over the course of several months, the two reportedly communicated on a daily basis. This communication allegedly involved Ginnetti sending the teen videos of herself undressing and performing sex acts on herself.

The mother of three, including one child who is 14-years-old, also sent the 17-year-old student pictures of herself in underwear and in a bikini.

Investigators say that Ginnetti admitted to having sex with the teenage boy as well, the story reports.

In one instance, the two allegedly met at a coffee shop last summer in Northeast Philadelphia. They then drove to a nearby industrial park and had sex in Ginnetti’s car, according to police reports. Ginnetti then drove the boy back to the coffee shop and asked him not to tell anyone.

The Lower Moreland police said they received a tip last week from a caller who said they overhead students talking about “inappropriate pictures of the minor and the teacher doing ‘sexual things.’” Police then reportedly approached the student and the teenager gave police a detailed account of the relationship.

Ginnetti is facing 13 counts which include sexual assault of a student, corruption of minors and disseminating obscene materials to a minor, according to the report.

She had previously taught AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Calculus and Honor Algebra at Lower Moreland High School.

NBC10 reports that Ginnetti was suspended without pay and will be fired.

The teacher may lose her job, but with the type of pictures and videos that are most likely circulating around the school, she will certainly not be forgotten anytime soon.
