BROOMALL, Pa. – A second grade teacher is being charged with groping two 7-year-old female students in his classroom.

Paul Hochschwender, 53, was charged this week with institutional sexual assault, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age, and corruption of minors, reports WPVI.

Hochswender is accused of groping two girls in his Darby Township Elementary classroom and authorities are looking into a possible third victim as well.

Court documents show that detectives were contacted by the school last week and asked to investigate the claims made by the two 7-year-old students. They alleged they were assaulted in separate incidents in front of other students.

Another possible victim, a 14-year-old female, came forward claiming that Hochswender grabbed her buttocks two years ago. She also claims that she reported the incident to the school at the time of the assault but no action was taken.

The District Attorney in the case, Jack Whelan, said that authorities believe there are additional victims and urged them to come forward.

Hochschwender, a nine-year veteran of the school, has been placed on administrative leave.

Amanda Brennan, 25, pleaded guilty last October to a felony charge of luring a child with intent to engage in sexual conduct. She will also be required to register as a sex offender, reports The Associated Press.

Brennan entered into a relationship with a male student, who was under 16 years old, at Foothill High School. The two exchanged over 1,000 text messages in a nine day period and the boy’s parents caught him sneaking back in their home after he left to meet his teacher.

The teen told police that he and Brennan loved each other and had kissed twice, the Associated Press reports. He claimed that the two only cuddled in the back of her car the night his parents caught him sneaking out.

Brennan acknowledged in court that she knew she could never teach again. Her lawyer said that she found another job but would not specify what that was.

If the former teacher violates the terms of her probation, she could face up one to four years in prison.
