LOWER SAUCON, Pa. – A 21-year-old DeSales University student was cited at 1:30 a.m. and accused of “drunk-jogging.”

The New York Daily News reports:

Cops reportedly spotted James Finan jogging alongside Route 378 in Lower Saucon at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The DeSales University business major was stopped after police said they saw drivers swerving to avoid hitting him, a Lower Saucon Township Police Department report states.

The 21-year-old was cited for public drunkeness.

The Franklin Township, N.J., native reportedly smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.

Police officers observed drivers making “defensive maneuvers” to avoid hitting him, according to a press release.

The student was subjected to a breathalyzer test and allegedly found to have blood alcohol content of 0.19 – more than double the legal driving limit.

But jogging?

Lehighvalleylive.com reports, “Finan smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet while speaking to officers, police said.”

He was cited for “Public Drunk,” according to the police department news release.
