LONDON – Some people have had enough of Russell Brand’s anti-capitalist grandstanding tactics and they’re hitting back.

Brand held a protest outside the Royal Bank of Scotland offices in London and according to the Telegraph, “marched into the lobby with a megaphone, camera crew and a billboard of the bank’s disgraced former chief executive, Fred Goodwin, in tow.”

He was also quizzing employees about their pay and bonuses.

One person affected by the stunt, blogging as Jo, lashed out at Brand, calling him a “puerile, self-aggrandizing, prancing multimillionaire,” according to the paper.

He was also called a “school yard bully” for confronting “ordinary working people” about their pay.

Instead of “doing something potentially educational” like making an appointment and interviewing RBS executives, Jo says, “you staged a completely futile publicity stunt.”

“Putting one’s face that close to someone else’s and staring into their eyes is how primates square off for a fight,” he adds.

Most of all, Jo was upset the stunt spoiled his hot lunch.

Your response to my complaint that a multimillionaire was causing my lunch to get cold was… well, frankly, it was to completely miss the point, choosing to talk about your millions instead of addressing the real issue, namely my fucking lunch. But that’s a forgivable mistake. We all have our priorities, Russell, and I can understand why a man as obsessed with money as I am with food would assume that’s what every conversation is about.

In a video, Brand can be seen face-to-face with employees and people on the sidewalk.

In October, Brand also tried to confront Fox News host Sean Hannity at the News Corp. headquarters in New York City.

He published a video of that stunt as well, asking security personnal: “Can I come up, have a look around, maybe have a look at the studio, touch some stuff, meet some people from The Sean Hannity Show?”

Hannity responded via Twitter:
