GLENDORA, Calif. – The mother of a Glendora High School student is facing an assault charge after she was caught on video in a scuffle with two students and her son that was posted online.

Erin Lisa Sims was arrested for battery over a scuffle with a teen boy and his brother at Glendora High School Friday, Glendora City News reports.

The incident occurred around lunch time when one of the boys in the video is seen saying something to the 49-year-old woman’s son as he walks away.

“What?” Sims asked the boy, before asking another student: “Who is this, Corey?”

The teen muttered something else to Sims, who replied “speak English!”

The boy stepped up to Sims and appeared to say something else, which prompted the mother to grab the boy by the shirt in an attempt to haul him to school authorities.

Other students are heard laughing as the teen struggles against Sims. Sims’ son, who was on metal crutches with a cast on his right foot, swung his right crutch into the boy’s back, at which point the first teen’s brother took off his backpack and went after Sims’ son.

“Hey, hey, f*** you!” Sims screamed, pulling the first teen back by the shirt to confront his brother. “F*** you! F*** you!”

The teen who initially sparked the ordeal attempted to intervene, telling Sims to “chill out! Chill out!” but the woman was on a rampage and grabbed and appeared to rip the second student’s shirt.

“You want me to call …!” Sims said, as she held both boys by their shirts.

“Get off me dog!” the second teen yelled.

When Sims saw school officials approaching, she yelled “touch me again, touch me again.”

Two men broke up the scuffle as the second teen shot back: “Touch you? I’ll sue you.”

“F***ing sue me then,” Sims said. “I’ll f*** you up if you do that again.

The mother asked another student, “who is this, Corey?” as the teen muttered something else to Sims.

Police arrested Sims on a misdemeanor battery charge, issued her a ticket, and released her on $500 bail, KTLA reports.

Glendora Police Lt. Matt Williams said Sims told officers she grabbed the first student by the shirt to take him to the school office for being rude, and intervened when his brother went after her son to prevent a fight.

A neighbor who spoke with KTLA said the video didn’t seem like the Sims he knows.

“They’re all cool,” said the neighbor, who did not want to be identified. “It must have been something before the camera started rolling obviously. But I don’t see them fighting like that.”
