ROSEMONT, Pa. – A Philadelphia-area school worker faces criminal charges after students allege she flashed her bare bottom at school on multiple occasions, and often shared sexually inappropriate pictures and videos on her phone.

Police allege Maya Johnson, a 35-year-old direct care staff member at Presbyterian Children’s Village showed three juvenile students and an 18-year-old pictures of herself in lingerie on her iPhone, as well as a video of herself performing a sex act for her boyfriend, WPVI reports.

The Village fired Johnson after students came forward about the lingerie pictures, and alerted Radnor Township Police on Feb. 9.

One student told police Johnson showed her the lingerie image – with breasts partially exposed – in January and it made her uncomfortable. The 18-year-old said the same thing, and added that Johnson also flashed her buttocks at students, NBC 10 reports.

“Further investigation revealed Johnson also showed a cellphone video of herself masturbating to the two minors, police said. Johnson told the girls she had sent the video to her boyfriend, police said,” according to the news site.

“For 140 years, The Village has provided care for children and families in our community,” the school wrote in a prepared statement Thursday.

“We are grateful that our residents immediately alerted us to the behavior of this former employee. Their actions enabled us to act swiftly in terminating her and immediately reporting their allegations to the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services’ ChildLine,” it continued. “The Radnor Police then began an investigation with the assistance of the involved residents and our staff. We have fully cooperated with the investigation and have reaffirmed to the Radnor Police that they have our full support as they proceed with this case.”

Fox 29 reports The Village is a court-ordered child care facility for troubled girls.

Radnor Police told WPVI Johnson has also worked at five other schools where she may have come into contact with children.

“We will be following up with those places as well and notifying Children and Youth Services of that situation,” Lt. Christopher Flanagan said.

Johnson faces charges of corruption of minors and disorderly conduct.

She’s the second Village employee to be arrested for sex crimes involving students this month.

Just a few weeks ago, police arrested 28-year-old teacher Nina Scott for the alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old student.
