A math teacher in Hamilton County, New Jersey isn’t afraid to let kids know what she thinks of them, and it isn’t pretty.
Several teenagers playing football last week at a former school met the wrath of Steinert High School math teacher Nicole Griggs, who did not appreciate their lack of social distancing, The Trentonian reports.

Griggs appeared in sweats while walking her dog to scream at the teens from behind a chain-link fence, and the kids recorded the embarrassing outburst and posted it to TikTok.
“Should I scream it loud enough so you can hear me over your music? Parks closed. You will get arrested if the cops come,” the teacher yelled.
“Wait, can we go over there?” one of the teens asked.
That’s when Griggs lost it.
“Parks closed. The whole area,” she said. “Get it through your thick head. You are the reason we are in this situation. You are the problem, not the solution. Go ahead and keep recording. Who are you going to show it to? Post me on social media. You’re the idiot doing the wrong thing. I’m just trying to save your ass and save your life. But die, ok. I hope both of you get the coronavirus. I hope you both die a long painful death.”
The teens posted the video on TikTok with the message: “Y’all Mrs Griggs is losing her damn mind how tf is she a teacher #coronavirus.”

One of the teens, a freshman at Steinert, identified the teacher for The Trentonian, which confirmed Griggs lives one tenth of a mile from the school where the incident occurred.
The news site also linked the teacher to the Facebook page for Nikki Leigh, which contained messages detailing other confrontations with folks she doesn’t think are taking the coronavirus seriously enough.
“We are surrounded by idiots!!!!! Rode our bikes near Kuser Park this afternoon and what to (sic) we see but a younger couple with their daughter maybe 2/3 years old UNDOING the caution take around the jungle gym so she could slide. I totally called them out on it, wished illness on them and commented that it was scary to even think they were parents. Their response: ‘We were going to put it back.’”
The teens told The Trentonian Griggs threatened to call the police on them, and officers showed up to the school a short time later. The teens were told to leave and they did.
“When she said that I was shocked,” one of the teens said. “I didn’t know someone would say something like that, especially a teacher. She should be smarter with her words.”
School and city officials also were not impressed.
Mayor Jeff Martin admonished Grigg’s behavior and pointed to more than four dozen deaths in the township as a result of the coronavirus.
“This is a very serious thing,” he said. “We’ve got at least 50 people who have actually died from it, 50 families. It’s not something to joke around about. Teacher or not, it’s unacceptable.”
Hamilton Township Superintendent Scott Rocco vowed to “address the issue immediately,” though it’s unclear what, if any, punishment Griggs might face for her antics. She did not return messages for comment.
The Hamilton teachers union also declined to discuss the situation with The Trentonian.
The incident in Hamilton Township comes the same week the Woonsocket, Rhode Island school district accepted the resignation of sixth grade teacher Amy Bednarz, who used a social media alias to solicit someone with the coronavirus to cough on President Trump, WJAR reports.
“Somebody with Covid 19, I will pay you to cough on #Trump,” she posted from her “Proud Teacher” Twitter account.
Online sleuths connected the account to Bednarz’s Facebook page, and the Woonsocket school district launched an investigation that resulted in her resignation last Wednesday, about three weeks after she made the post, EAGnews reports.
