CHICAGO –The biggest proponents of Big Data in education believe collecting the most intimate details about your child and family will help them engineer society, Jane Robbins says in this interview with the Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas.

“Common Core is not a political issue. It’s an issue of their children,” said Robbins, a fellow for the American Principles Project. “You can mess with a lot of things. You can have the IRS going after people. You can have the NSA spying on people, but when you start to mess with people’s children, they start to pay attention.”

Robbins coauthored a 60-page report for the Pioneer Institute, titled “Cogs in the Machine: Big Data, Common Core and National Testing.” See her give highlights from the report below.
