KENOSHA, Wis. – Wisconsin teacher Kristi Lacroix has been perhaps the best and most convincing advocate for Scott Walker’s educational reforms. As a public school teacher still under the union’s thumb due to her unexpired contract, Lacroix has taken to the streets and airwaves to voice her opinion.

When one goes against unions and other leftists, there’s invariably hell to pay. “I’m a big girl,” she once told me – she can handle it.

And emails like the one she published in her newsletter yesterday (found on her Facebook page) are evidence of that. Check out this passage of her newsletter:

“I’ve met a lot of new people lately and many are sharing their opinions. Lots of positive ones, while some, not so much. These two e-mails I just had to share. Brian, a city employee and union steward who lives in Phillips wrote me this, verbatim:

“’You support Walker , hope you share a jail cell with him. A vote for Walker is like a vote for Adolph,

“’Unions Gave Us The Weekend: Unions Gave Us Fair Wages And Relative Income Equality:
Unions Helped End Child Labor: Unions Won Widespread Employer-Based Health Coverage: Unions Spearheaded The Fight For The Family And Medical Leave Act: You people must communists,, or complete idiots.

“’Brian
Phillips, Wi.’

“Sincerely hoping he’s not a teacher, I asked him what he does for a living. Again, verbatim:

“’City worker, Union Steward trying to help employees get a honest wage and a Retirement plus insurance ,than have some little rat faced Bas—- named Walker Try to ruin your future, son of a bitch is a communist.

“What a peach! Whatever city he works for sure is lucky to have such an honorable public servant! Perhaps he doesn’t know many union leaders and activists are, in fact, communists?”

The whole “Adolph” thing is so old and unfortunately shows the level of intellect of some people frustrated with the world passing them by. And a communist? Please, stop. You’re an embarrassment to public employees, Brian, many of whom elect union leaders are in fact Marxists and communists.

We think the Scooby Doo catch-phrase “the jig is up” aptly sums up the situation in Wisconsin.

What the unions are really saying is, “We would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that meddling Walker!”
