AURORA, Colo. – Colorado high school teacher Carly McKinney may be “crunker than most,” but her penchant for posting about her hard living ways on Twitter resulted in her separation from the Cherry Creek school district this week.

crunkbearOfficials wouldn’t discuss why the 23-year-old former math teacher is no longer employed by the school district, opting instead to state that she’s gone and leave it at that, according to media reports.

“The Overland High School teacher, who was placed on administrative leave after allegations of impropriety arose, is no longer employed by the district. The district will have no further comment as this is a personnel issue,” according to a statement, CBS reports.

McKinney went on paid leave in January when school officials learned of numerous inappropriate tweets and racy pictures on her Twitter account – Carley Crunk Bear.

Posts included:

“Baked as (expletive) grading these papers …”

“Watching a drug bust go down in the parking lot … It’s funny cuz I have weed in my car in the staff parking lot”

“Can’t wait to roll up after school.”

“stay sexy … stay high … stay drunk”

“Hot. Wet. Stoned.”

There were also numerous pictures of a half-dressed McKinney posted to the Carly Crunk Bear account, as well as pictures of the teacher allegedly smoking marijuana (chronic) and drinking alcohol – known as getting crunk.

McKinney told the media she created the account with a friend as a joke, and wasn’t responsible for all of the tweets.

After McKinney was put on leave, students and others on Twitter rallied to save her job and created hashtags and logos to free crunk bear, according to media reports.

Apparently, it wasn’t enough.

Hopefully, other educators will learn from McKinney’s mistakes, and set a better example for their students.
