Baltimore teacher arrested for sex with student

A Baltimore teacher has been arrested and charged with having sex with a student.

Lynette Trotta, a science teacher at Archbishop Curley High School, and the student began texting each other in November 2013, according to a news report from FoxBaltimore.com. The student claims that between December 2013 and January 2014 Trotta would take him out of study hall so they could spend “quality time” in her empty classroom, which included kissing and fondling, the news report said.

The student also claims they had sexual intercourse in the teachers’ car.

Trotta was jailed as of Friday with bond set at $250,000, the news report said. She and a school librarian who allegedly knew about the relationship but failed to report it have both been suspended from their jobs.
