WHITWELL, Tenn. – One thing is clear: the “healthy” school lunches promoted by First Lady Michelle Obama aren’t going to win any beauty contests.
While many students complain of the paltry portion sizes, others are bringing attention to meals that look more like a pile of dog’s vomit than an appetizing creation intended for actual human consumption.

It’s altogether possible not even a canine would return to lap up these sorry excuses for school lunches.
Consider some of these examples posted in just the last few days by students on Twitter.
“Oh yay! My favorite day! #MysteryMeatMonday,” Twitter user @raylon_smith00 posted before tweeting this picture:

She also thanked Michelle Obama for the lunch served at Whitwell High School in Tennessee – a popular refrain from students displeased with changes to their lunch offerings.
There are several others, such as this one from Nathaniel Hougen, who says he lives in Monticello, Minnesota:

“Healthy lunch? Looks more like the flu with a side of chips,” responded Jeff Capell.
Is there a resemblance to dog’s vomit? You be the judge:
